Can I save an embedded project?

Yes. An embedded project is a project feature that exists within the current root project.

Open the view representing the group containing the project feature that you want to save.
Select the Pointer Tool.
Right-click the project feature, which has the effect of selecting it and displaying the Pointer Tool's context menu.
From the context menu, select Save → Selected Project As...
The Save As dialogue is displayed. Use it to complete the operation.
