Absyntax is a suite of Microsoft .NET Framework-based libraries and applications.

Operating Systems

  • Windows XP (SP3) (x86)
  • Windows Vista (SP2) (x86 and x64) (recommended)
  • Windows 7 (SP1) (x86 and x64) (recommended)
  • Windows 8 (x86 and x64) (recommended)

Software Requirements

  • Microsoft .NET 4.0 (installed automatically with the product if necessary, subject to your agreement)

Hardware Requirements (guideline only)

  • 2GHz processor
  • 512MB RAM
  • 1GB (32-bit) or 2GB (64-bit) available hard disk space for Microsoft .NET 4.0
  • 10MB available hard disk space for the Absyntax framework

Installation Instructions

To install the Absyntax framework on your computer:

  1. Download the zip file containing the latest version of the Absyntax framework.
  2. Unzip the contents.
  3. Run setup.exe, a program that will guide you through the straightforward installation process.
  4. If prompted by a User Account Control dialogue, click "Yes" to allow the installation program to proceed.
  5. When prompted, you must either agree to the terms of the licence or cancel the installation.
  6. You may change the default installation folder if you wish.
  7. Once installed, you will need to activate the trial licence that shipped with the product before it can be used.

Removal Instructions

There are two ways to uninstall the Absyntax framework.

  1. Run the same setup.exe program that you used to install the product.
  2. Select the "Remove Absyntax Framework" option when prompted.
  3. Click the "Finish" button to complete the removal.

Alternatively:

  1. Open the Control Panel.
  2. Navigate to the "uninstall a program" facilities.
  3. Locate and select the entry for "Absyntax Framework".
  4. Choose the "Uninstall" option.
